Witch Hazel

The latin name for our witch hazel is Hamamelis Virginiana and it originates in the USA. We use Mountain Rose Herbs witch hazel extract because most commercial witch hazel extracts usually contain more alcohol than actual witch hazel, and have only been distilled once.

Mountain Rose Herbs witch hazel extract has been double distilled with water and organic cane alcohol. It contains 86% witch hazel extract and only 14% alcohol. This makes it more soothing than the versions found in stores, and lacks the alcohol sting and scent. 

This witch hazel is distilled from the twigs and bark of the witch hazel tree.
It has a pH of 3.0-5.0
